Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim, made a remarkable impression as highly influential figures at the Cannes Film Festival. The Cannes 2023 red carpet witnessed the attention-grabbing presence of Jennie and Anushka.
Jennie graced the festival to join the cast of the premiere of The Idol, while Anushka proudly represented India on the prestigious red carpet. Joining them on the list of the top five most influential personalities was BTS member V.
According to a global brand tracking agency, Jennie who proudly wore Chanel and Anushka wore Prada at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival were the most talked about celebrities globally this year.
According to the report, global pop star Jennie achieved an impressive Earned Media Value (EMV) of $35.2 million, while Anushka Sharma reached a staggering $17.9 million. These two surpassed the EMVs of other notable figures, such as Blackpink’s Rose, whose EMV amounted to $17.1 million. Blackpink’s Lisa secured the fourth position with an EMV of $14.7 million. BTS’ Kim Tae Hyung, also known as ‘V,’ claimed the fifth spot with an EMV of $14.4 million.
This year marked Anushka’s debut at Cannes, where she made a stunning appearance. She graced the occasion wearing a white sheath dress featuring a ruffled bodice, beautifully resembling a floral design. Anushka chose an elegant updo hairstyle and kept her makeup and accessories minimal, allowing the exquisite gown to take centre stage. On the second-to-last day of the festival, she attended Cannes alongside Eva Longoria and Andie MacDowell. The trio walked the red carpet together, attending the premiere of The Old Oak.
